JNU offers various undergraduate programs in different specializations. At UG level, the university offers courses like BA honours, BTech B.Sc+M.Sc integrated and certificate of proficiency (COP) programmes. As for basic eligibility requirements, students are required to pass class 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks from a recognised board. Selection of students for JNU undergraduate admission is done through CUET UG examination.

Course Eligibility Criteria Selection Criteria
B.Tech Passed Class 10+2 or equivalent in Science with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised Board. Selection of students is based on candidates' JEE Main Scores and JoSAA / CSAB Counseling.
BA (Hons) Passed Class 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised Board. Selection of students is based on candidates' CUET UG scores.
B.Sc + M.Sc (Integrated) Passed Class 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised Board. Selection of students is based on candidates' CUET UG scores.
Certificate of Proficiency (COP) Passed Class 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognised board. Selection of students is based on candidates' CUET UG scores.

JNU Postgraduate (PG) Admission 2024

JNU offers various Postgraduate courses such as MA, M.Sc, MCA, M.Tech, MBA, PG Diploma and many others. The PG programmes are offered full-time for a duration of two years. The PG programmes are offered under various streams like Science, Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, and many others. Admission to PG courses is based on CUET PG scores. However, for MBA admission is considered based on CAT scores. As for basic eligibility requirements, students must've completed Graduation from a recognised University.

Course Eligibility Criteria Selection Criteria
MBA Completed graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Selection of students is based on CAT scores followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
MCA Completed graduation in BCA / B.CSE / B.Sc / B.Com / B.A. or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognised university. Selection of students is based on CUET PG scores.
MA Completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university. Selection of students is based on CUET PG scores.
M.Sc Completed graduation in B.Sc / B.Tech or equivalent qualification with at least 55% marks from a recognised university. Selection of students is based on CUET PG GAT-B scores.
MPH Completed 4-year Graduation in Clinical Sciences or in Allied Fields with at least 55% marks from a recognised University. Selection of students is based on CUET PG Scores.
M.Tech Completed Graduation in the Science discipline of any branch or B.Tech / B.E. with a minimum of 55% marks from any recognised University. Selection of students is based on CUET PG scores.
PG Diploma Passed Graduation with at least 55% marks in M.Sc / B.Tech / B.E. in Physics / Chemistry / Statistics / Operations / Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Mathematics / CS / Bioinformatics in related disciplines. Selection of students is based on CUET PG scores.

JNU Ph.D Admissions 2024

JNU offers Ph.D programmes in 20 different specializations. The Ph.D programme is offered full-time. Interested students EEE to appear for the Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE) for JNU Ph.D Admission followed by an interview. However, JRF/GATE qualifiers don't need to appear for the JNUEE.

Eligibility Criteria Completed Post Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks in a specialized subject from a recognised University.
Selection Criteria Selection of Students is based on JNUEE / JRF / GATE score followed by an interview.

JNU Admission Procedure 2024

  1. Visit the official website of NTA and register for the CUET UG and CUET PG exam at cuet.samarth.ac.in. and cuet.nta.nic.in., respectively.
  2. Next, visit the JNU website and apply for admission online at jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
  3. Check the right hand side of the page where links for every course is provided.
  4. Check out the courses and click on the course link which students choose.
  5. Click on -˜New Registration' and fill out the application form.
  6. Enter details in the application form like Enrollment Number of Entrance Exam, Personal Information and Academic Details.
  7. After filling out the firm, upload required documents.
  8. At last, pay the application fees through the payment gateway.

  • Graduation Degree and Marksheets (For PG and Ph.D Programmes)
  • Masters Degree and Certificates (For Ph.D degree)
