The AIAPGET 2025 eligibility criteria have been made public by NTA, the organization that administers the test. AIAPGET exam is not open to candidates who will not finish their internship by the specified deadline. All applicants must present a copy of their Internship Completion Certificate, which must include the start and end dates of their internship, as evidence of their eligibility.

AIAPGET Eligibility Criteria: For PwD Candidates
Candidates must also meet the general AIAPGET eligibility criteria listed above to apply under the PwD category. "A person with benchmark disability," as stated in Section 2(r) of the RPwD Act, indicates a person with not less than 40 per cent of a particular disability where the stated disability has not been described in measurable terms and involves a person with disability where a certain disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority, is another condition that they must meet in addition to these. According to Section 2(zc) of the RPwD Act, a specified disability is any disability listed in the Act's Schedule, which comprises the following:
- Mental illness
- Speaking Disability: Disability in Speech and Language
- Visual Disability: Vision Problems and Blindness
- Hearing Impairment: Deaf and Limited Hearing
- Blood Conditions: Sickle Cell Diseases, Thalassemia, and Haemophilia
- Chronic Neurological Disorders: Parkinson's disease and Multiple Sclerosis
- Multiple Disorders: Deaf-Blindness and more than one of the above disabilities.
- Movement Disorder: Leprosy, Cerebral Palsy, Dwarfism, Muscular Dystrophy, and Acid Attack Victims are examples of locomotor disabilities.
- Intellectual Disorders: Autism Spectrum Disorder and specific learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, and Developmental Aphasia.
AIAPGET Eligibility Criteria: For Candidates Already Enrolled in a PG Course
Certain universities and institutions have policies that restrict candidates from enrolling in postgraduate programs at their university or another university. Such candidates will not be accepted into the postgraduate admissions processes of these universities or institutes. Before applying, all candidates are encouraged to review the AIAPGET 2025 eligibility criteria of the universities or institutions they wish to attend.
