SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) will conduct SRMJEEE 2024. SRMJEEE is a national-level online remote proctored admission test to BTech programs offered by SRMIST campuses. SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is held in multiple phases.

Last year, 3 phases were held. If this year the same trend is followed then SRMJEEE 2024 will be held in the months of April, May and June. The application process and schedule are expected to release in November 2023. 10+2 passed/appearing candidates can apply for SRMJEEE.

What is SRMJEEE Exam

SRMJEE is a national-level engineering entrance exam for admission to BTech courses offered at SRMIST campuses. This entrance exam is held based on the 10+2 syllabus and has MCQ-type questions asked from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude and English. The entrance exam is remotely proctored, which means the candidates can take the exam from the comfort of their homes.

SRMJEEE acts as a common entrance examination for all SRM Group institutes and universities located at Chennai (Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli); Delhi NCR Campus at Ghaziabad (UP), SRM University - Sonepat, Haryana; and SRM University, AP - Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates who are selected based on SRMJEEE marks are allotted campus and course based on course preference selected at the time of counselling. The seats are allotted only based on SRMJEEE – All India Rank and availability of seats.

SRMJEEE 2024 Application Form

SRMIST releases the SRMJEEE application form online on the official website. Candidates can apply using the steps below:

1. Register Yourself
2. Verify the email id
3. Fill out the online application form
4. Upload the required documents
5. Pay the application fee

The candidates have to upload the following scanned images:

1. Photograph Image: Size should be 200 X 230 pixels, 5 MB
2. Signature Image: Size should be 140 X 60 pixels, 5 MB

After the successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated. Save that number for future reference and communications. Course/Campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counselling based on SRMJEEE – All India Rank and availability of seats. Application fee: INR 1200

SRMJEEE 2024 Eligibility

Candidates can check below the eligibility for SRMJEEE 2024: Nationality: Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE.

1. Note: NRIs, holders of PIO or OCI card issued by the Government of India who has not taken the SRMJEEE (UG) must apply under the International student category only.

Age: Should have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

Qualifying Examination For all BTech Courses:

1. Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry /Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics.
2. Passed in Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

SRMJEEE 2024 Syllabus

SRMIST releases the syllabus of SRMJEEE based on which questions are asked in the exam. The syllabus of SRMJEEE contains 10+2 level topics from Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Aptitude and English. Through the syllabus of SRMJEEE, candidates can get an idea of the topics, subtopics, chapters, and units to be covered while preparing for the SRMJEEE exam.

All the questions in the exam are of Multiple Choice Types and have four answers, of which one is correct.

SRMJEEE 2024 Exam Pattern

1. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th.
2. All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
3. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question.
4. 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer and no negative marking for the wrong answer.
5. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 mins.

SRMJEEE 2024 Mock Test

SRM University releases the SRMJEEE mock test for each phase of the exam. The mock test window opens a few days before the actual exam day. Using the SRMJEEE mock test candidates can practice for the remote proctored exam.

To ensure that the candidates get familiar with the setup for taking online exams at home and to get comfortable with the exam interface, mock exams are facilitated before each phase.

To avoid last-minute disturbances/ clarifications, it is suggested to the candidates take the mock exams as scheduled and be prepared for the final examination.

SRMJEEE 2024 Slot Booking

Candidates are allowed to book their preferred exam date and time for the remote proctored test. Candidates can access the Admission Portal button under their respective logins, to book the slots of their convenience, subject to the availability of slots on a particular date.

After booking of SRMJEEE slot, candidates can download the hall ticket that generates after the completion of the slot booking process.

SRMJEEE 2024 Admit Card

After booking of SRMJEEE slot, candidates can download the SRMJEEE hall ticket that generates after the completion of the slot booking process. On the day of the exam, candidates must be ready with the SRMJEEE hall ticket and valid photo ID proof.

Candidates must upload a snapshot of the ID proof when needed during logging into the remote proctored exam.

SRMJEEE 2024 Remote Proctored Exam Guidelines

Candidates can check some important guidelines to be followed in the SRMJEEE remorse proctored test: System requirements:

1. Laptop with functional camera and microphone.
2. Intel i3 (4TH Gen) equivalent CPU or above.
3. 4gb RAM or above.
4. Internet Speed – Minimum 1 MBPS
5. 2 Gb free hard disk space
6. Windows 8 or above Mac 10.14 Mojave and above

Do’s and Don’ts: Candidates must follow some instructions for the remote proctored exam:

1. Do not move from your seats, during the exam. You cannot take bio breaks during the duration of the exam.
2. You should sit facing the screen throughout the exam and should not look sideways or down.
3. You are not allowed to keep mobile phones, digital watches, or any other electronic devices with you during the exam.
4. You are not permitted to wear sunglasses/headphones.
5. You should take the exam, seated in a room where there is sufficient light. You must ensure you are the only person in the room during the exam and there is no disturbance. Do not entertain any other person in the room.
6. Do not contact/talk to anyone or take assistance from anyone during the exam.
7. Do not keep any text or bits of paper or any material/notes/rough paper with you during the exam.
8. Do not access any other site/screen on your laptop/Personal computer during the exam.
9. Do not try to log in from multiple devices.
10. Do not google or search from any other source.
11. Do not lip-sync or read the questions aloud.
12. Do not cover your face with hair/mask/clothing or anything else.
13. Do not have any background noise/voices/music//TV.
14. You are not allowed to have food/beverage during the exam except for water

SRMJEEE 2024 Admission Process

Below is the selection process for admission through SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam:

1. Step 1: Register for SRMJEEE 2024: To begin with, aspirants need to register for the SRMJEEE exam if they are eligible.
2. Step 2: SRMJEEE 2024 Slot booking: Applicants have to do the slot booking to appear in the entrance exam. Admit cards can be downloaded after booking the slot.
3. Step 3: Download SRMJEEE 2024 Admit Card: SRMJEEE admit cards can be downloaded from the official website. To download the same, aspirants will need their application number and date of birth.
4. Step 4: Appear for the SRMJEEE entrance exam 2024: SRMJEEE is conducted in online mode. Aspirants are advised to follow all the instructions for the remote proctored test.
5. Step 5: Check SRMJEEE 2024 exam result: SRMJEEE result will be declared on the official website. The result will have a candidate's AIR based on which seats will be allotted to the candidates in the counselling process.
6. Step 6: Appear for SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling: Aspirants who clear the exam need to appear for SRMJEEE counselling. The counselling is held online.

Starting date of application form: November 2023SRMJEEE 2024 Result

The SRMJEEE result can be checked from the official website of the institution by entering the application number and password. SRMJEEE result 2024 will comprise details such as marks secured by the candidate, qualifying status and procedure for participating in the counselling process.

Students who qualify for the exam will be eligible for admission to the institute, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.

SRMJEEE 2024 Counselling

The institute conducts online counselling for admission of the SRMJEEE 2024 qualified candidates. Candidates are offered seats on the basis of their ranks in the entrance exam, the preferred choice of branch & campus and the availability of seats. The SRMJEEE e-counselling process includes the following steps:

2. Choice Filling
3. Seat allocation
4. Allocation Acceptance (only for allocated candidates)
5. Proceed with the Payment of Counselling Fees (only for allocated candidates)
