The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the CUET UG 2025 Provisional Answer Key for all subjects on its website at cuet.nta.nic.in, today, 17th June 2025. The answer key challenge window will remain active till 20th June, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the CUET UG 2025 exam held from 13th May to 4th June, 2025, can now access the answer key, response sheet, and question paper PDFs for various shifts.
CUET 2025 Answer Key Challenge Window Active
The NTA has also opened the challenge window for CUET UG 2025 answer keys. Students who find any discrepancies in the provided answers can raise objections from 17th June to 20th June, 2025 (up to 11:00 PM). To challenge a question, a non-refundable fee of INR 200 per question must be paid.
How to Download CUET Answer Key 2025?
Candidates can follow the steps below to download the CUET UG 2025 answer key:
- Visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link titled ‘Answer Key Challenge for CUET (UG) 2025’.
- Log in using your CUET Application Number and Password.
- Click on "Click to View/Challenge Answer Key".
- Select the test subject from the dropdown list.
- View and download the answer key displayed for the selected subject.
CUET UG 2025 Marking Scheme
To estimate their score, candidates can use the following marking scheme provided by NTA:
- Correct Answer: +5 marks
- Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
- Unanswered Question: 0 mark
This marking scheme enables students to predict their CUET scores before the official results are declared.

Follow these steps to calculate your tentative CUET UG 2025 score:
- Log in at cuet.nta.nic.in using your application details.
- Under ‘View Question Paper’, open the paper for your subject.
- Match your selected responses with the provisional answer key.
- Award or deduct marks based on the marking scheme.
- The final total will be your estimated CUET UG score.
What Happens After the Objection Window?
Once the answer key challenge window closes, NTA will review all objections raised. If any question or answer is found incorrect, a revised/final answer key will be released. The CUET UG 2025 result will be calculated based on this final key. It’s important to note that the score based on the provisional key is only indicative.
