Admission process at Dadasaheb Balpande College of Pharmacy is designed to ensure the selection process of candidates who excel in both exam and eligibility for their chosen field.

The criteria for admission depend on the level of education and chosen course but generally include merit and entrance-based assessments. The institute provides B.pharmacy,M.Pharmacy and Ph.D. courses and along with that there are a few value added/certification courses that are offered by college and these are - Universal human values, Advanced analytical equipment handling certificate course,elevating ethical practices in pharmacy profession and employability skills.

Courses and fees of DBCOP -

Currently, DBCOP provides a pharmacy degree program (B.Pharma). four-year degree program), a Ph.D. and postgraduate pharmacy program with reasonable tuition for the duration of the program. Various certification programs are offered in the pharmacy professions.The following are the courses, costs, and number of seats:

Eligibility criterion for various courses :

Candidates are admitted solely on the basis of their performance on the merit examinations. In order to be admitted to the master's program at the institute, students must receive at least 55 percent of the possible points. Candidates are expected to review the following table for more information:

  1. The candidate should be an Indian National;
  2. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
  3. The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and obtained a non-zero score in MHT-CET.

M.Pharm

  1. The candidate should be an Indian National;
  2. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; O
  3. Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State);
  4. The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and obtained non zero score in the MHT-CET

Ph.D.

Passed Diploma , graduation and postgraduate Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks or UGC NET

Admissions of DBCOP -

Applications for various programs are submitted online. Beginning on the day of notification of issuance, applications for admission to the 2024-2025 session are available at the college office. To apply, go to the college's website or get in touch with the Help Desk or Inquiry Center.. Candidates can also download the application form from the official website https://www.dbcop.org/index.php The admission process is as follows-

  1. The candidate must register their application online, add the necessary files, and verify and confirm their application form on the website in order to be admitted.
  2. The Maharashtra State/All India candidates provisional merit list will be displayed on the website.
  3. There are no registration or admission costs for candidates who have registered for MAH-MHT-CET . However, those applicants who have scored well enough in the NEET exam to be admitted for the academic year but have not registered for the MAH-MHT-CET must pay the fees shown below using an online credit card, debit card, net banking, or other payment method. The Payment of fees is not refundable. (Any other payment method will not be accepted.)
  4. General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) & children of Indian workers in Gulf countries (CIWGC)- INR 800
  5. Reserved Category Candidates of Backward Class Categories & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only- INR 600
  6. NRI/OCI/PIO/FN Candidates- INR 5,000/-

  • Passport-size photograph
  • Cast certificate
  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Undergraduate degree(for M.Pharm)/post graduate degree(for Ph.D)
  • One set of unattested photocopies of all relevant documents
  • Aadhar card of the candidates
  • College leaving certification or transfer certificate.
  • Birth certificate of the candidate
  • Domicile certification of the candidates
  • EWS candidates shall produce the Eligibility Certificate for Economically Weaker Section
