The university offers Masters of Arts (M.A.) and Masters of Commerce (M.Com.) programs under postgraduate courses with a range of specialties. The candidates should have graduated from Jammu University or another accredited university with a B.A., B.Com., or an equivalent bachelor's degree. University of Jammu, UG Application Procedure

  • For UG course, the candidate can apply offline/ online
  • For offline, to get the form, follow the following steps:
  • Visit the website, download the form
  • Fill in the forms with correct information, submit the form along with the following documents

Documents required:

  • Provisional Certificate from the school.
  • Character Certificate from the school or gazette officer/ 1st class magistrate.
  • Three self-attested photocopies of the diploma of the matriculation examination.
  • Marks card of higher secondary examination
  • Migration certificate for those who have passed 10+2 from other boards.
  • Recent photographs are to be submitted for official purposes
  • For students having a gap of more than a year, they need to submit the Notary Certificate

University of Jammu, PG Application Process 

  • Candidates applying for PG courses must fulfill the eligibility of the particular subject he/ she wants to opt for
  • Then visit the website, and register using a valid email id and number
  • Fill in the form online, with all the correct information that has been asked for
  • Scan the supporting documents and upload it, uploading the documents is very important
  • Pay the application fee online via any of the online payment mode
  • Then submit the form online and take a printout out of it
  • Attach a copy of e receipt of the application fee along with the hard copy of the filled form, while submitting it in the directorate

Required documents:

  • Three self-attested photocopies of Bachelor's degree and Marks certificates of Part 1/2/3.
  • Three self-attested photocopies of the degree certificate of the last examination passed, provisional certificate in original required.
  • Migration certificate for candidates who have passed the last examination from a university other than the University of Jammu.
  • Character certificate issued by a gazetted officer.
  • One Passport size photo with name and serial number written at the backside.

The admission to B.A. / B.Com. semester-I will be made online exclusively through the website and will be made directly by the admission committee of the programs at the DDE and its learner support centers.
