Admission to the University includes the consideration of a Certain minimum aggregate in a 10+2 relevant qualifying exam and a valid entrance test score, passed graduate. Also, For UG, it prefers candidates with a minimum aggregate of 45% for general and 40% for reservation candidates in a 10+2 equivalent qualification with relevant subjects recognized by related boards and a valid BEd-CET Score. Also, For PG, it prefers candidates with passed graduation in relevant disciplines.

NOU Patna Admission Process 2025
The Candidates are required to submit their marks while registering, which is crucial for admissions. After submitting, candidates must participate in the counselling/ admission process by selecting the preferred courses/program on the official website. Candidates will be enrolled in the selected programs based on their chosen preferences.
How to apply?
- Visit the official website of the university.
- Go to the online Admissions tab, Register and Login, Start filling out the application form using personal & professional details in the available form, then choose the program.
- Candidates registering for several courses must attempt entrance tests like BEd-CET or valid Entrance Tests/ Exams for admission in UG and PG, etc programs. Also, make sure to provide all the required details and documents correctly.
- After completing the filling of personal details; participate in the counselling/ admission process by entering your scores secured in relevant exams/boards exams. Also, the entered scores will be used to confirm the eligibility for admission to the University.
- Based on the submitted scores of the Board marks/ Entrance exams or relevant qualifications, the University will assign the Seats. The seat allocation process also considers the availability of seats for particular disciplines.
- Candidates who get selected or successful admission will receive a provisional offer letter. Also, this letter indicates the sign of successful admission, moving to further admission processes.
- Attend the physical counselling session as mentioned in the very mandatory offer letter. This step shows your interest and eligibility for the allocated seat.
- Pay the enrollment and other fees by the mentioned date in the provisional admission offer letter. Completing the payment is very crucial to secure your admission to the Institute.
- Complete the final registration process at the University to officially join the University.
