National Insurance Academy, established in 1980, is a government institute in Pune, Maharashtra. The institute is AICTE-approved and affiliated with international entities such as CPCU (USA), CII (London), and the Canadian Institute of Insurance.

Is it necessary to stay at the NIA campus?

Yes, the course is completely residential. However, students who live with their parents in Pune are permitted to stay at home. Students will receive hostel accommodations in the following order: Girl students based on merit. SC, ST, DA, and OBC-NC pupils based on merit. The remaining students are listed in order of their overall score on the merit list. Students who do not receive accommodation must make their own arrangements, and hostel fees will not be charged to them.
