St. Anthony’s College is a Don Bosco Institution located in the East Khasi Hills of Shillong and is affiliated with North-Eastern Hill University. The college offers degree courses in Arts, Science, Commerce and Business Administration at the UG level. At the PG level, St. Anthony’s College offers MCA and M.Sc. degree courses in Biotechnology and a Diploma course in Computer Application. Recently, the college introduced a new course at the undergraduate level, which is a B.A. (Hons.) Education. Admission to the new course B.A. (Hons.) Education will be offered from the academic year 2023-24. Candidates seeking admission to any of the courses offered at St. Anthony’s College must apply online from the college's official website under the “Application Portal”.
Admission to some of the UG, PG and PG Diploma courses is granted based on scores obtained in the entrance exam conducted by the college, followed by a round of Personal Interviews. For all other courses, the college grants admission based on merit obtained in the last qualifying exam. Candidates with excellent academic records will be granted spot admission by the college's principal.

St. Anthony’s College offers a wide range of arts, science, commerce, business administration and music courses. It provides eight subject specialisations in B—a and nine in B.Sc. As per the eligibility criteria for applying to any UG courses, candidates must pass 10+2 or HSC with the minimum required marks.
For admission to B.A. (English, Economics, Mass Communication and Video Production, Media Technology), B.Music, B.Sc. Biotechnology and BBA candidates must qualify for the entrance exam conducted by the college. The shortlisting of candidates is done based on entrance exam scores and minimum eligibility requirements.
Those applying to the non-entrance-based UG courses must pass HSC in the relevant stream. The selection process is done based on merit and availability of seats.

Key Points to remember for UG Admission:
- The test of B.A. /B.Sc. Economics is of one-hour duration, B.A. Media Technology Mass Communication, and Video Production are of two-hour duration.
- The time duration of the BBA test is one hour and thirty minutes, whereas for B.Sc. Biotechnology is one hour.

The College offers degree courses in M.Sc., MCA and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. The duration of the M.Sc. course is two-year, MCA is a three-year course, and PGDCA is a one-year regular course.
Admission to PG courses is done through the Entrance exam and Personal Interview.
As per academic eligibility, candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognised university/institution.

Key points to remember for PG Admission:
- Candidates shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance exam will be called for an interview.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in written tests, interviews and marks obtained in degree examinations.
- Marks secured inthe entrance exam and interview will have 70% weightage and the marks obtained in the degree will have 30% weightage.
St. Anthony’s College, Shillong Application Process 2023
- Visit the official website of the college and sign up on the Application Portal.
- After the sign up, the login ID and password are sent to the registered mobile number and E-mail.
- Use the details to log in again on the Admission Portal and fill up the application form by providing the requisite personal and academic details.
- For every course applied, a Unique Application ID (UID) is sent to be used for all application related references.
- Candidates applying for entrance-based courses will be assigned only one UID to be used more than once for all entrance-based courses.
- Upload the required documents.
- The application fee should be paid online using Credit Card/Debit Card or Net Banking.
- Applicants are advised to write the UID and Online Transaction ID on the print out of the application form.
Application Fees:
- INR 350 per course (Non-Entrance UG Course) and
- INR 450 (Entrance UG and PG Course).
- Additional INR 100 will be charged for any additional course.
