SSBF MBA Banking & Finance Admissions 2025

The Symbiosis School of Banking & Finance offers its flagship program in full-time residential mode. The course duration is 2 years, split into 4 semesters with a student intake of 120. To attain the SSBF MBA degree, students are required to complete a total of 100 credits. The first-year program structure involves generic core courses, and the second year involves core + specialized curriculum. Students will also need to submit the “Research Publication” to receive the MBA award degree.

• SSBF MBA Banking & Finance applicants must have a graduation degree with 50% minimum marks or equivalent. 
• A 5% relief in minimum marks is granted to the SC/ ST category. 
• A foreign university student will be required to obtain an equivalence certificate from AIU - Association of Indian University. Foreign degrees will only be accepted after the verification from AIU. 
• Selection to the SSBF MBA Banking & Finance will be done on the basis of cumulative marks obtained in the SNAP Test, Group Discussion, and Individual Interaction. 

SSBF MBA Banking & Finance Final Merit List Weightage:

The final merit list will be prepared by the Symbiosis Admission Authorities. The SNAP Test score carries 50% weightage and 50% weightage is provided to other components. 

SSBF MBA Dual Degree Admissions 2025

Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance - [SSBF] offers 2 Dual Degree MBA (Banking & Finance) programs. It offers an MBA - Dual Degree with Auston University and an MBA - Dual Degree with Macquarie University. The total program fee of the MBA Dual Degree program for Indian Students is INR 12.90 Lakh including INR 12.70 tuition fee and INR 20,000/- institute deposit. For international students, the total course fee is A$ 16,475 involving A$ 16,200 tuition fee and £ 275. 

SSBF MBA Dual Degree With Auston University Admissions 

The MBA Dual Degree with Auston University, UK involves an MBA in Financial Services & MSc in Finance. With this program, students can earn two master's degrees in just 2 years. This program is specially customized to make students efficient in facing the challenges in the global environment of BFSI - Banking, Financial Services, & Investments.

Eligibility at SSBF (As per Symbiosis International University norms): 

• Candidates must have a graduation degree with 65% or equivalent from any recognized institute/ university/ or institute of National Importance. 
• Foreign degrees must be verified by the Association of Indian Universities - AIU. 
• To successfully be eligible for the dual degree program, students must obtain a 6.5 GPA in the first semester. 

Eligibility at Aston University 

• Candidates must have 60% minimum marks in their bachelor's degree /or 6 out of 10 GPA/ 4.2 out of 7 GPA), along with at least 50% in each area: Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Methods, Finance.
• Applicants must have obtained at least 80% (state board/ NIOS) or 75% (CBSE/ISC) in class 12th English. If not, 6.5 in IELTS is also acceptable. 
• Candidates must bring a Letter of Recommendation (LoR) from the previous company/ institute. 
• Work experience is not mandatory. However, it will be preferred for final admissions. 

Selection Criteria

• Applicants must have minimum marks in the UG degree and proficiency in English.
• The selection will be done on the basis of SNAP entrance exam scores, followed by GEPI (Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test). 

MBA Dual Degree with Macquarie University Admissions 

The MBA Dual Degree with Macquarie University involves an MBA in Financial Services and a Master of Banking & Finance in Financial Management. This dual degree is available at SSBF in partnership with Macquarie University, Australia. The course curriculum also involves students engaging in group projects, case studies, and internships.

SSBF MBA Executive Admissions 2025

Symbiosis School of Banking & Finance offers a 2-year-long MBA Executive program with 2 specializations. The classes for MBA Ex will be scheduled on weekends only. The class timings are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday-Sunday at Lavale Campus. SSBF Executive MBA has 30 intake capacity. The total course fee for MBA Executive is INR 6,00,000 including INR 1,50,000 tuition fee and INR 10,000 institute deposit. 

This program at SSBF is tailor-made for working executives and professionals, who are willing to enhance their expertise in banking & financial services. The course curriculum of SSBF Executive MBA features risk management, corporate finance, data analytics, fintech innovation, etc.

To apply for courses at SSBF, candidates must first apply for the SNAP Test, and then apply for SSBF. Applicants are required to follow the necessary steps as mentioned below: 

1. Go to the www.snaptest.org/ and register yourself. 
2. Apply for the SNAP Test by paying the SNAP application fee of INR 2,250/-. 
3. Now, go to the SSBF official application portal and register by email and phone. 
4. Fill out the SSBF application form. 
5. Pay the additional application fee of INR 1,000/-. 
6. Submit the form and take printouts of both application forms. 
7. Now, appear for the SNAP Test and obtain a valid score to be selected for admission to SSBF Pune.
