Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE) is a self-financed technical institution in Ibrahimbagh, Hyderabad, India. The institution is connected with Osmania University in Hyderabad. The National Board of Accreditation has approved the Vasavi Academy of Education, which was founded in 1981.

• Admission to the B.E. degree requires taking the Engineering, Agricultural, and Medical Common Entrance Test, also known as EAMCET, which is held annually. Candidates must also pass the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana's examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional courses, or any other examination recognised as equivalent by Osmania University. Admission to the second year B.E. study is via ECET.
• Admission to BE (Hons) is based on the merit of the BE programme. Also, the candidate must have completed the NPTEL Certification Course before the conclusion of the fourth semester.

• The Convener of EAMCET fills 70% of the seats under Category A based on EAMCET rank and reservation criteria. Management fills 30% of the seats under Category B based on Andhra Pradesh government standards.

Aspiring applicants can pursue ME and M.Tech courses in a variety of specialisations at the postgraduate level. The M.E programme lasts two years.

In order to get admission to the M.E program, a candidate should hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree of Osmania University in the ECE or its equivalent for admission into ME-Embedded Systems and VLSI Design discipline or in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering or its equivalent for admission into ME-Advanced Design and Manufacturing or AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognised by O.U. as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. and Valid GATE Score obtained in the GATE Examination.

Admission to ME programs is through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

• The Convener of PGECET fills 70% of the seats under Category A based on the rank obtained in GATE/PGECET and according to the regulations of reservation in place.

• 30% of the seats under Category B should be open for admission, first to Sponsored Candidates and unoccupied seats, if any, to the other qualified candidates based on merit, according to the guidelines provided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
