TS ECET 2025 Result Tie-Breaking Policy

In case of a tie in TS ECET 2025 result, a policy of tie-breaking will be adopted to decide on the relative merit of candidates. The policy varies according to the course applied for, and it legally treats all the candidates, giving preference to their merit. The rules of tie-breaking are applicable to Engineering, Pharmacy, and BSc (Mathematics) candidates, and each category has particular criteria. Tie-Breaking Policy for Engineering Candidates

• In case of a tie in the total marks, the marks scored in the Engineering subject will be taken into account first.
• If the tie continues, marks achieved in Mathematics will be employed to break the tie.
• If the tie persists, then the marks of Physics will be utilized for conclusive tie-breaking.
• If the candidates are equal in all the subjects, they will be bracketed for ranking.
• The candidate's age will be taken into account, with the older candidate preferred for allocation of rank.

Tie-Breaking Policy for Pharmacy Candidates

• The candidates will be merit-ranked in TS ECET.
• If the result is a tie, the percentage of the marks secured in the qualifying test will be considered.
