Chandigarh University Online BA Journalism and Mass Communication Exam Pattern 

The BA Journalism and Mass Communication Online Program exam pattern at Chandigarh University (CU) is designed to assess the understanding level of the students. The University has adopted a ten-point letter grade system. Each letter grade corresponds to a grade point for SGPA and CGPA calculation purposes. The theory and practical paper evaluations are out of 100 marks each, with the weightage of Term End Examinations being 70% and Internal Assessments complementing 30%.

  • Term-End Examinations: The term-end examinations shall take place during the months of June and December in every academic year by the University itself. Refer to the Academic Calendar for an updated date.
  • Term End Examination Notification: The details of the notification in this respect shall be made available via the University ODL website/ announcement on Chandigarh University Online LMS/ or through the Chandigarh University Online website/ University Campus Notice board.
  • University ID card and E-hall ticket: Students must carry the University ID card and the E-hall ticket (which will be sent online) of the relevant term-end examinations while appearing in the examinations.
  • Term End Exam Form: The students will submit the online examination form and submit the examination fee after the fulfilment of eligibility conditions. E-Hall tickets will be made available on the portal for downloading by students. Detailed instructions and date sheet shall be provided on the web portal well in advance.
  • Re-evaluation: Any student may apply online for the re-evaluation of a course paper by paying the prescribed fee and within the time limits fixed by the university from time to time. Once the reevaluation is done, if there is an increase of more than ten percent (10%) of the total marks in the outcome, the Re-Evaluation charge will be refunded.
  • Term End Results Announced: The Term End Results will be announced on the Chandigarh University Online website. Students will not be given any separate intimation about this.
