How to Complete the NEET 2025 Application Process
Candidates who have completed the initial registration must follow these steps to finalize their NEET 2025 application:
- Visit the official NEET website (www.neet.nta.nic.in).
- Click on the Registration and Online Application link.
- Select “Click here to login”.
- Use your Application Number and Password to log in. Alternatively, you may use your Academic Bank Credit (ABC) ID or DigiLocker ID.
- Fill in the remaining mandatory details.
- Upload required documents in the specified formats.
- Pay the application fee via online mode.
NEET 2025: Advisory for Candidates
NTA has issued an advisory urging applicants not to delay their registrations. Many students tend to apply at the last minute, which often results in technical errors due to high traffic on the website. It is advisable to submit the application early to avoid such issues.
NEET 2025 Registration: Document Uploading Guidelines
For candidates belonging to the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) category, certain documents must be uploaded, to ensure their eligibility for necessary accommodations during the exam. The required documents include:
- PwD/PwBD Certificate (50–300 KB, both sides in a single PDF)
- Medical Certificate from a 5-doctor bench (50–300 KB)
- Medical Certificate from a 2-doctor bench (50–300 KB)
- Scribe’s Photograph (10–200 KB)
- Scribe’s Signature (10–50 KB)
- Scribe’s Qualification Certificate (50–300 KB)
- Undertaking for Using a Scribe (50–300 KB)
- Identity Proof (10–200 KB)
- Certificate of Physical Limitation to Write (where applicable)
Candidates requiring a scribe must submit a certificate from a government healthcare institution, stating their inability to write independently. Additionally, they are entitled to compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour during the examination.
NEET 2025 Application Correction Window
For those who have already submitted their forms, NTA will open the correction window from March 9 to March 11, 2025 (11:50 PM). Candidates can modify certain fields but will have to pay an additional fee where applicable. No refunds will be issued for any excess payments.

Importance of APAAR ID in NEET 2025 Registration
NTA has introduced the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID or APAAR ID as part of the registration process. It helps streamline student academic records and facilitate easier access to educational data. Candidates need to ensure that their details match their Aadhaar information while generating the APAAR ID.
Steps to Generate APAAR ID for NEET 2025
- Visit the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) website.
- Click on “My Account” and select “Student”.
- Choose “Sign Up” and enter mobile number, address, and Aadhaar details to create a DigiLocker account (or log in if you already have one).
- Provide consent to share Aadhaar details for KYC verification.
- Enter academic information.
- Submit the form to generate your APAAR ID, which will be securely stored in DigiLocker.
