The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) was established in 2009 by an Act of Parliament (No 25, of 2009). It is accredited grade “A” by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is among the top 100 institutions in the 'University Category' of The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2019. Admissions at Central University of Punjab are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. The university accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET PG) scores for admission to all PG courses. However, admission to M.Pharm and M.Tech courses are also offered based on GPAT and GATE scores, respectively. The final selection is done through a counselling process conducted by the university. Candidates must note that admission to 50% of seats in the M.Tech program is filled through CCMT counselling and the remaining are filled through CUET PG.
