Admissions to Delhi School of Economics 2024 are based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores, which are administered by NTA for all undergraduate and graduate programs. Aspirants for all UG courses must take CUET UG, while applicants for all PG programs except MBA must take CUET PG. For DSE MBA admissions, CAT is required, followed by GD-PI extempore. Once the CUET results are available, candidates must register on Delhi University's Admission Portal - admission.uod.ac.in - and fill out their selected courses and college preferences. Seats for undergraduate applications will be allocated using the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
Admission to Ph.D./MPhil programs is based on an entrance exam administered by DU; however, applicants who have passed CSIR/UGC-NET, including JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, and DST-INSPIRE, must appear straight for the PI round.
For PG admissions, 50% of total seats will be filled on a merit basis in their qualifying exams for candidates who completed their bachelor's degrees at Delhi University, with the other 50% awarded based on CUET PG scores. The Delhi School of Economics additionally reserves 50% of its total seats for candidates from the ST/SC/OBC/EWS/PWD categories.
