DGMC: Admissions 2025 – Fees, Eligibility, Last Date & Process

Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies offers UG, PG, Diploma, and Short-term certificate courses. Candidates are admitted to DGMC Mumbai through both merit and entrance-based. This college program is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. This college conducts a written test for MA and PG programs.

Admission procedure:-

Candidates can apply for admission to DGMC only through the online application, below the guidelines are available for all UG, PG, and diploma programs with the application process, required documents, and eligibility criteria.

Admission guidelines for the Bachelor’s program:-

Pre-admission online registration on the University of Mumbai website:

• Fill out the Pre-Enrollment form on the University of Mumbai website by logging on to: https://mum.digitaluniversity.ac/ and selecting Deviprashad Goenka Management College of Media Studies as the option and follow the instructions displayed on the website.
• The registration number of the University of Mumbai’s Pre-Placement form is required and mandatory to be entered in the college online application form.
• The college application form is an online form, available on the website.
• A student can apply for only one category or they have to fill separate admission forms for another category.
• Required documents to upload
• University Pre-Enrolment form
• Passport size photograph
• 12th standard mark sheet
• 10th standard mark sheet
• Leaving certificate
• transfer/ migration certificate
• All relevant document
• After submitting the application form, it will be verified by the admission committee of the college.
• All verified applications will be offered provisional admission based on merit.
• The merit list will be displayed on the college website and selected candidates also get SMS and Email.
• Selected candidates will be required to visit campus offline with a printed copy of the application form with all the required documents.
• The student would also have to carry a DD (Demand Draft), drawn in favour of Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies.
• On successful fee payment, an acknowledgment shall be sent to the registered email ID of the student.

• Hard copy of the online admission form of DGMC
• Attested photocopy of HSC mark sheet
• Attested photocopy of the SSC mark sheet.
• Copy of the Aadhar card

Admission guidelines for the Master’s Program:-

Students seeking admission to the college for a master’s degree course must accomplish the following:

• The written test: the college conducts a test consisting of a written examination. Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree shall be eligible to appear for this examination. The student shall be given four questions/statements to debate and discuss.
• The interview: each candidate will be given three minutes to present himself and clearly state his purpose and motivation for doing the course. The student will be assessed for language, presentation, clarity of purpose, and overall impression.

Documents required for various categories for admission:-

• Hard copy of the online admission form of DGMC
• Original & attested photocopy of semester 5 & 6 of the bachelors program
• Attested photocopy of the degree
• Original & attested photocopy of HSC/equivalent examination mark sheet and HSC/ Equivalent examination leaving.

Step 2:- Submit the application fee

Step 3:- selected students will also be intimidated by SMS/Phone call. Candidates have to then pay the fee within the stipulated period as communicated to secure his/her admission. On payment of the fee, provisional admission will be confirmed.
