  • Laboratories: The college has many departmental laboratories, one of which includes the KUKA KR-16 industrial robotic arm in the Electronics and Telecommunications department, which currently contributes to the practical training of students .
  • Canteens: GEC provides a number of eating outlets on campus. Canteens include the main canteen, NESCAFÉ kiosk and Raj Restaurant. Canteens considered breakfast, lunch and dinner from all working days.
  • Sports Facilities: GEC has a range of sports facilities. The college has a gymkhana that contains a power gym, an indoor badminton court, a basketball court and a full-length natural grass football ground that is also used for cricket.
  • Accommodation: The college has five boys' hostels and two girls' hostels. The hostels' rooms are generally shared between 2–3 students for boys hostels, and with girls hostels typically each room is single. All rooms come with furniture including a bed, table, chair, cupboard, fans, tube light and multiple electric sockets.
