GIMT-I – Overview of Scholarships
At GRD Institute of Management and Technology, we prioritize student success by offering a variety of scholarships to worthy candidates. These scholarships are presented in the form of tuition fee waivers, with each student being eligible for only one scholarship. The provision of these scholarships is contingent on the documentation provided by the student to the Institute, and any discrepancies in these documents could result in a forfeit of the scholarship. It is also worth noting that GRD Institute of Management and Technology extends scholarship benefits to siblings of alumni, and siblings of students currently enrolled at the institute. The following scholarships are specifically available for the academic session 2022-23:
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Merit
GRD Institute of Management and Technology recognizes and rewards academic excellence by offering merit scholarships to students based on their performance in their respective qualifying exams. These scholarships are available only in the first year, and students must have cleared all subjects of the qualifying exam, with no rounding of CGPA.

GIMT-I – Scholarships for Uttarakhand State Domicile
For students who hold domicile status in Uttarakhand, GRD Institute of Management and Technology offers a 10% scholarship on tuition fees. To qualify, students must provide their original domicile certificate of Uttarakhand State at the time of admission. Additionally, 40% of the seats in all programs at GRD-IMT are reserved for these students.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Siblings of Current Students
GRD Institute of Management and Technology provides a 5% scholarship on tuition fees to siblings of current students. To avail this scholarship, the sibling must present the following document at the time of admission: Aadhaar / any valid photo ID proof of the student bearing the name of the parent.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Hill States Domicile
Students from hill states including Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura can avail a 10% scholarship on tuition fees at GRD Institute of Management and Technology. To qualify, students must provide their original domicile certificate of the respective Hill State at the time of admission.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Girls
Promoting education among women, GRD Institute of Management and Technology offers a 5% scholarship on tuition fees to female students enrolled in Diploma/UG/PG programmes. This scholarship is applicable for the first year and remains consistent on a PAN India basis.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Defense Personnel Wards
GRD Institute of Management and Technology offers a 5% scholarship on tuition fees to the children of defense personnel. To avail this scholarship, students must present a valid certificate of their parent at the time of admission.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Alumni Siblings
Siblings of alumni are eligible for a 5% scholarship on tuition fees at GRD Institute of Management and Technology. Applicants for this scholarship must provide the following at the time of admission: Aadhaar / any valid photo ID proof bearing the parent's name and Mark sheet/Certificate issued to the alumnus bearing the parents' names.
GIMT-I – Scholarships for Existing Student Siblings
GRD Institute of Management and Technology also offers a 5% scholarship on tuition fees to siblings of existing students. To apply, applicants must provide the following at the time of admission: Aadhaar / any valid photo ID proof bearing the parent's name and Mark sheet/Certificate issued to the student bearing the parents' names.
