The Hindustan College of Arts and Science (HCAS) in Coimbatore offers a variety of scholarship opportunities to its students. These include government schemes such as SC/ST scholarships, Minority Scholarships, Pradhana MantriNidhi Yojana, and ICCR, among others. Additionally, HCAS provides merit-based scholarships for students who have secured above 90% marks, as well as sports scholarships that cover food, accommodation, and tuition fees. HCAS – Academic Meritorious (AM) Category Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to state or district toppers of Tamil Nadu, as well as Hindusthan School students, based on their academic performance. The scholarship percentages vary with the cut-off marks.

 

HCAS – Sports Meritorious (SM) Category Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students who have shown notable achievement in sports at various levels, from international to district.

 

HCAS – Indian Armed Force (IAF) Category Scholarship

The IAF Category Scholarship is specifically for students from Defence families, including the Army, Navy, and Airforce.

 

HCAS – Police Quota (PQ) Category Scholarship

This scholarship is granted to students whose parents serve in the Central Reserve Police Force or as Police Personnel.

 

HCAS – Community Quota (CQ) Category Scholarship

The Community Quota Scholarship is designed for SC & ST students and MBA and MCA students with an income below 2 lakhs.

 

HCAS – Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Category Scholarship

This scholarship is provided to economically disadvantaged students, including orphan or foster children, single-parent families, and girl children.

 

HCAS – Other Scholarship Category

The college also offers scholarships for physically challenged students, girl children, and siblings. The discount percentages vary across categories.

 

HCAS – PG Programmes Scholarship

HCAS offers scholarships for its alumni seeking admission in PG Programmes (except MBA) for the academic year 2021-22. The college provides different scholarship percentages for department toppers and other students.

The college also provides scholarships for its MBA students, with different scholarship percentages for department toppers and other students.

Note: Students are given assistance in applying for the above-mentioned scholarships. A 25% discount in PG is given for Hindustan University Liberal Arts UG students. New students can pay 50% of the 1st-semester tuition fees initially and the balance within a month of joining. Those who pay the annual tuition fees upfront receive a discount of INR 2,000. Students who haven't studied Maths in +2 but have scored 70% and above are eligible for BCA.
