IIM Sirmaur offers admissions to several PG and doctoral coursesfor students. The PG programs offered are Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP), MBA in Tourism Management and PhD, Executive MBA Program and Management Development Programs. Doctoral courses offered at IIM Sirmaur are PhD and PhD (Executive). IIM Sirmaur is popular for its flagship MBA courses. Admission at IIM Sirmaur is through the CAT exam, followed by the CAP interview rounds.

CAT 2025 registration will start on August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will close on September 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Admit cards will be available for download from 5 November 5 to 30 November 2025. The CAT 2025 exam is scheduled for 30 November 2025, and the results are likely to be announced in the first week of January 2026. The CAT application fee has been revised to INR 2600 for General category candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

IIM Sirmaur offers a range of postgraduate courses. The courses are MBA, MBA in Tourism Management, MBA TTHM, Post Graduate Programme for Executives on Leadership in Smart Manufacturing, Executive MBA and EMBA in Managing New Age Businesses. Each program spans over two years, and the candidates must hold a valid score from entrance exams like CAT/GMAT/XAT/GATE/GRE. Candidates also need to have work experience if they want to apply to executive courses like PGPEX-LSM, Executive MBA and EMBA in Managing New Age Businesses.

To be eligible for the doctoral programs at IIM Sirmaur, candidates must hold a master’s degree with at least 60% marks. Candidates need to qualify for the CAT/ GMAT/ GATE/ GRE/ JRF/ SRF, and appear for two rounds of a Personal Interview. PhD students receive a monthly stipend (INR 40,000 for the first two years (i.e. before CQE) and INR 45,000 after two years (i.e. after CQE).
