IGRUA offers two courses in aviation discipline namely CPL and B.Sc in Aviation at UG level. The CPL course is approved by DGCA, Government of India and B.Sc Aviation by Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The duration of CPL course is 18 months (may get extended) and that of B.Sc is three years.
The admissions procedure for both the courses is the same where a three-tier selection procedure is followed: i.) Online Written Test ii.) Viva/Interview iii.) Pilot Aptitude Test. The eligibility to apply for the courses shall be as given below:

Students must have 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics taken together for the general category students whereas 45% for the SC/ST students. Along with that candidates must have 50% marks in English as well in 10+2 examinations.
Candidates with a minimum age of 17 years and less are allowed for the selection process but the candidates must not be less than 17 years while joining the courses.
