The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) offers a substantial number of scholarships, with over 80 scholarships worth more than INR 3,17,00,000 available to students. These scholarships are designed to support diverse groups of students, including general pool candidates, female students, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students, and economically disadvantaged students pursuing a Management degree. Scholarships are also provided based on merit and financial need.
IRM- General and Female Candidate Scholarships
IRMA provides 20 merit-based scholarships worth INR 1,17,00,000 for students enrolled in the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Rural Management) program. These scholarships are divided equally between the general pool of students and female students, with each group receiving 10 scholarships. The scholarships cover up to 50% of the tuition fee. The first-year scholarships are awarded based on the overall selection merit of IRMA's admissions process, while the second-year scholarships are based on the academic performance or CGPA of the first year at IRMA.
IRM- Mirae Asset Foundation Scholarship
The Mirae Asset Foundation (MAF) provides six scholarships every year, three for second-year students, and three for first-year students. Each scholarship is worth INR 5,00,000 per student per year. The scholarship amount is evaluated annually and decided at the beginning of each academic year.
IRM- SC Scholarships
IRMA also offers scholarships that cover the entire cost of education for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates. Allocated by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, these scholarships cover tuition fees, non-refundable charges, lodging and boarding expenses, the cost of books, stationery, and a personal computer. Four such scholarships have been allocated to IRMA for SC students.
IRM- ST Scholarships
Scheduled Tribe (ST) students can also avail scholarships at IRMA, provided by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. The details and the exact number of such scholarships are subject to the terms and conditions set by the Ministry.
IRM- IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarships
Financial assistance for meritorious students from economically weaker sections of society who aspire to pursue an MBA degree or its equivalent is provided through the IDFC First Bank MBA Scholarships. Selected students receive a scholarship of INR 1,00,000 per annum to support their MBA or equivalent studies at selected Indian Business Schools, including IRMA.
IRM- Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme

IRM- Educational Loans
Furthermore, students enrolling at IRMA can avail themselves of educational loans from various banks. These loans are offered at favorable rates of interest and with student-friendly pre-payment schemes.
