Jamal Mohamed College [JMC] is a public autonomous institution in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu founded in 1951. Bharathidasan University (Tiruchirappalli) is associated with JMC.
JMC Tiruchirappalli offered following courses: B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.B.A., B.Litt., B.C.A., M.A., M.Com., M.Sc., M.C.A., M.B.A., M.S.W., Diploma, PG Diploma, M.Phil., and Ph.D.

Students of JMC Tiruchirappalli can turn in completed application forms once the Tamil Nadu government has released the HSC results. The College will not be issuing printed application forms.

When applying for admission on campus, they must bring in a printed copy of the completed online application (A4 size, front and back).
The applicants need to prepare the following documents in order to submit the online application.
A soft copy of a current, blue-background passport-size photo (selfies should not be submitted).
The community certificate in soft copy.
The HSC Mark statement (+1 &+2) is in soft copy. Email and a copy of Adhaar.
A distinct email address is required of applicants at the time the online application is filled out. Only this email address will be used for admissions-related correspondence. Use caution when utilizing the email address and mobile number of friends, family, Jamal Mohamed College students, or browsing centers.

The JMC, Tiruchirappalli offers three-year full-time B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., B.B.A., B.Litt., and B.C.A. programs. To apply for the courses, one must at least have passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent.

JMC provided three-year full-time MCA programs in addition to two-year full-time M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., M.S.W., and MCA (Lateral) programs for admission in 2024. Applicants must have completed and passed a bachelor's degree in a related discipline in order to be admitted to these courses.
Candidates for M.A., M.Sc., M.S.W., and M.Com. programs are chosen on the basis of merit. On the other hand, TANCET results are used to determine whether candidates move on to the MBA program, and group discussions follow. However, the TANCET/CET Entrance Exam results are what ultimately determine whether candidates are accepted into the MCA program.

The minimum requirements for admission to the Diploma program are 10+2 or its equivalent. In contrast, an applicant must pass their bachelor's degree or its equivalent in order to apply for PG Diploma courses. The Diploma programs only admit students on the basis of merit.

JMC Tiruchirappalli provides a one-year full-time M.Phil. program and a Ph.D. research program. In order to be admitted to the M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs, candidates must have earned an overall 55% in their master's degree.
Candidates for M.Phil. and Ph.D. programs are chosen in the end by the Institute using a combination of entrance exams and personal interviews.

For enrollment in any of the college's courses, there is no capitation fee or donation required by the college. The Principal should be notified if someone claims they can gain entry in exchange for a gift.
