The results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. The CAT registration fee has been increased to INR 2,600 for General category candidates and INR 1,300 for SC, ST, and PwD candidates.

JMI is a central university that offers both regular and distance programs. Its faculties spread across various forms of degrees and specialisations. JMI offers PG, UG, Diploma, PGDM, Certificate and Ph.D courses in fields like Engineering, Journalism, Nursing, Language, Management, Technology, Science, and more. The minimum eligibility for UG, Diploma, and Certificate courses is a 10+2 qualification with at least 45% aggregate marks. The streams must be relevant to the degree chosen by the candidate. JMI accepts admissions mainly in the online mode, and therefore, candidates need to visit the official JMI website to apply for any of the courses offered. Currently, the admission is open and registration is being accepted for specific courses. Candidates need to navigate to the Admission Portal of the JMI website and register themselves as new candidate for admission. Entrance exams for various courses will be conducted by the college on a scheduled date, at a specified location, and at a designated time. After the test, the merit list is used to select the final candidates for various courses in the new academic year. Candidates must remember not to apply for more than one course; otherwise, the candidature will be rejected. Moreover, if incorrect details are discovered, the application will also be dismissed. Therefore, candidates must complete the application form with care and precision. Before applying for any course, candidates must verify their qualifications against the eligibility requirements of the desired course. Along with the basic candidature form (which includes details of the last qualifying exam), candidates will also have to apply for the entrance exam. No printed or hard copy of the application form is required to be sent to the college, as admission is strictly online.
