For the benefit of the college's students, the Placement Cell of Jyoti Nivas College arranges and conducts workshops, seminars, career counseling and final placements. Companies hire 80% of the students who enrolled with the placement department through campus drives.
The students are assigned to the companies where the students are placed include Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Wipro, SAP-labs, Cognizant, Infosys, Walmart, Empower Retirement, ICG, Accenture, IBM, Wells Fargo, Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank, TCS, DELL Technologies, Schneider Electrics, Deloitte, and Teach for India.
These include software engineers and developers; public relations officers; HRs; counsellors; reporters; editors; air hostesses; actors; models; lecturers and teachers; front office operators; marketers; tax analysts; event heads; trainees; recruiters; consultants; process executives; life skill trainers; voice and non-voice process executives; script writers; content writers; financial analysts; operations; and so on. The students have been placed in IT, non-IT, and service fields for a variety of profiles.
The fifth semester is when final year student placements begin. Students that pass the corporate requirements proceed through the procedure. Ultimately, the candidates who have successfully completed every interview round receive their offers. Based on their success throughout the internship, the students chosen for the internships during the fourth semester are also extended an offer of permanent employment.
In total, between 80% and 90% of candidates are placed outside of their registered number in a variety of companies for the various profiles outlined above. In the event that they do not register with the cell, our pupils also pursue higher education.
OBJECTIVES
- To increase knowledge of the opportunities in the corporate world that are open to students from different streams.
- To support students in learning about the various courses that are offered for their higher education and beyond.
- To plan and carry out a 50-hour training program led by professionals from academia and business to motivate the students and develop their soft skills.
- To give students a place to look for work in a different variety of fields
- Educating student about competitive tests so they can apply for government employment
- To assist them in making a professional decision.

Girls who have made the decision to pursue higher education have not benefited from the placement cell's aid. Higher education has been pursued by them, including M.B.A., M.F.A., M.Phil., M.Sc.-Psychology, clinical Psychology, Mathematics, Physics, Biochemistry, Cosmetology, Organic Chemistry, M.A.-Literature, Economics, Sociology, M.S.W., L.L.B., and courses in medical transcription, clinical research, acting, modeling and other subjects.
CONCLUSION:
Jyothi Nivas College (JNC) Bangalore has placement rate as high as 85%, attracting the student with its strong industry connection and the diverse career opportunity prestigious companies like Goldman Sachs, J.P.
