Kautilya School of Public Policy, Hyderabad offers a PhD program in Public Policy for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years of duration. However, after 3 years, the extension will only be provided under special conditions. The scholarship support will be provided by the Kautilya School for up to 4 years. The course is divided into the coursework phase and the thesis research phase. This is a full-time doctoral degree to equip students with advanced research skills.
- To apply for Kaulitya’s PhD Public Policy Program, candidates must complete the application form and submit a 2500 research proposal that covers a problem statement, literature review, research methodology, and expected contributions.
- On the basis of the research proposal review, the shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the selection panel.
- The final admission decision for PhD will be based on the candidate's academic potential and an in-depth discussion of the applicant's research proposal.
