The Placement Cell at Maharaja's college Ernakulam provides their students with employment opportunities in various disciplines. The members of the placement work to not leave their students at the doorstep to the real world but to provide an opportunity or a chance to the life of employment. It encourages students to go to higher studies and follow their dreams and also helps the students who want to settle with an employment. Their vision to mold their students to be fine resources to serve this world and to access employment opportunities in various disciplines did not go to waste as currently 50 of their students are on their way giving interviews and getting employed in companies like Dr. Reddy's Laboratory in the department of chemistry, Sutherland global services Kochi in department of mathematics etc. The placement cell at Maharaja's college Ernakulam led by Dr. Swapna R from the department of Commerce has made tremendous deals with the government to provide opportunities to girls from minority and disadvantaged communities under Deen Dayal Uphadyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GYK) under the ministry of Rural department, Government of India (MoRD). Currently 35 girl students from final year are undergoing through the selection process.

For Academic Year 2020, companies like Reddy's laboratory took students from the Department of chemistry. They are a constant recruiter from this college as they have recruited consecutively for two academic years, 2019 and 2020. Back in 2019, there were 34 students placed in Dr. Reddy's laboratory.
Companies like Krythium solution private limited recruited students from commerce department and Sutherland Global services Kochi recruited students from Mathematics department. Back in 2019, ALLIANZ India, Pune recruited students from the department of commerce and economics. Nearly 26 students were placed in ALLIANZ India, Pune
Companies like Wipro software Technology, Bangalore,KPMG Global Delivery Centre, Kochi offered plenty of roles back in 2015-16 academic year for UG students. In total around 71 students got placed out of the total strength from the departments like chemistry , commerce and Economics.
Although placements were a little bleek in 2020, the campus has outdone itself over the past years from 2020. In 2019 nearly 80 students were placed, in 2018 nearly 218 students were placed, in 2017 nearly 152 students were placed and so on.
