MRCE UG Admission 2025

MRCE offers a diverse range of undergraduate programs, including B.Tech in various diciplines. Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in the relevant stream to be eligible. Admissions for certain programs are determined by scores in relevant entrance exams.

MRCE UG Admission Process

The undergraduate (UG) admission process at Malla Reddy College of Engineering (MRCE) is primarily based on state-level entrance exams and management quota, ensuring a transparent and merit-based system.

1. Entrance Exam-Based Admissions

B.Tech Admissions

• Admission is through TSEAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test).
• Candidates must qualify TSEAMCET and participate in the state-level counseling conducted by TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education).
• 70% of the total seats are filled through this entrance-based counseling process.

2. Management Quota/NRI Admissions

• 30% of the seats are reserved for Management/NRI candidates.
• Admission under this quota is also based on merit, i.e., 10+2 performance, but does not require a TSEAMCET rank.

3. Lateral Entry Admissions

• For Diploma holders, admission into the second year of B.Tech is available through the ECET (Engineering Common Entrance Test).
• Conducted by the Government of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
• Selection is strictly based on ECET rank.

4. Eligibility Criteria for UG Admissions

• Must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM required for general category students.
• Diploma holders must have passed the relevant diploma course with valid ECET score for lateral entry.
