MDNIY Delhi Admission 2025: Dates, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, New Delhi admissions are offered to 6 courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, and postgraduate levels. MDNIY admissions are offered to diploma, B.Sc, M.Sc and PGD courses. Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga admissions seat intake varies depending on the course. MDNIY B.Sc and M.Sc. admissions are based on marks obtained in IPU CET or entrance exam conducted by the college. Admission to MDNIY diploma and PGD course is based on marks obtained in exams conducted by the college.

MDNIY Important Dates 

Registration for IPU CET 2025 is now open for both undergraduate and graduate programs, and the application deadline has been extended to April 11, 2025. The test will take place between April 26 and May 18, 2025. Use ipu.admissions.nic.in to apply.

MDNIY UG Admissions 2025

MDNIY offers a Bachelor of Science in Yoga Science at the UG level. The course spans 3 years with an intake capacity of 60 students. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with PCB subjects and a minimum 50% aggregate score. Admissions are merit-based and conducted online. Selection is based on the merit obtained in the 10+2 exam. Specialization is offered in Yoga Science.

MDNIY Diploma Admission 2025

MDNIY offers a 1-year Diploma in Yoga Science with an intake capacity of 120+12 students. Candidates must have a Graduation degree with at least 50% aggregate marks and be under 30 years of age. Admissions are merit-based and accepted online.

MDNIY Certificate Courses Admission 2025

MDNIY offers 3-month Certificate Courses in three specializations: Yoga Science for Special Interest Groups, Pranayama and Meditation for Health Promotion, and Yogasana for Health Promotion. The intake capacity varies per specialization. Candidates must have passed 10+2 and completed a Foundation Course in Yoga Science. Admissions are merit-based and conducted online.

MDNIY Application Process 2025

Since Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY), is an institution affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) , the students must register and apply for the required courses through its official website only.

• Visit the official website for registration.
• Register yourself with all the necessary details, after going through the eligibility and instructions on the official website.
• Fill in all the required academic and personal details correctly.
• A login ID and password will be created which will be utilized for login purposes and the student is required to provide choices for allotment as per the sequence of his/her preference.
• A registration and guidance fee of INR 1000 should be paid via challan, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
• Once the seats are allotted, depending on merit score and choice, the students may either freeze their seat for the preferred course.
• To freeze, the students will have to take a print out of the Provisional Allotment Letter and will need to pay the part Academic Fee of INR 40,000 via Challan, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
• After the payment of fees, the students can report to the institute with the Academic Fee Receipt, the Provisional Allotment Letter, Admission Slip, and the necessary record for verification of documents and pay the balance amount of fees (if any), failing which the admission shall be automatically canceled.
