Making higher education accessible, the MYRA School of Business extends various scholarship opportunities to its vibrant and talented student body. These scholarships, both general and special, are awarded based on a combination of criteria including academic records, entrance test scores, case study analysis, the admissions interview, and representation in sports or extra-curricular activities at various levels. This article sheds light on the scholarships offered by MYRA and the system that determines their eligibility.
MSB- General and Special Scholarships
MYRA School of Business offers two main types of scholarships: General Scholarships and Special Scholarships. Each applicant's eligibility for these scholarships is based on a scoring system, which takes into account four key areas: Academic Profile, Entrance Test Score, Case Study Analysis, and the Admissions Interview. The scoring system allows for a maximum of 40 points, with each criterion contributing up to 10 points. Further, students from a defence background receive an extra 5 points, while those with extra-curricular and sports achievements gain additional points.
Total Score | Scholarship Amount (INR) |
25-29 | 50,000 |
30 or higher | 1,00,000 |
MSB- Special Scholarships
Special scholarships are particularly noteworthy as they cater to different categories of students. These scholarships are awarded to students who have represented their country in international sports or extra-curricular activities, have exceptional scores in qualifying entrance exams, or are outstanding but face financial constraints. The continuation of these awards into the subsequent academic year requires students to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and good conduct with no student code violations or disciplinary issues.
MSB- Scholarships for the Second Academic Year
There are also scholarships awarded by the Scholarship Committee at the beginning of the second academic year. These scholarships are awarded to the top three students based on CGPA. It's important to note that students with any history of incomplete grades or student honor code violations will not be considered eligible for these awards.
