The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research also known as NIPER, Mohal, it’s an autonomous college founded in 1998. The Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers established it as a centre of excellence for pharmaceutical sciences research, development, and higher education. In addition to being officially recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), NIPER Mohali was designated an Institute of National Importance by the Indian government by a parliamentary act.
