The National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar, is a research institute under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. NISER provides a 5-year Integrated M.Sc. course in important science subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics. Students are admitted through the NEST exam. In order to apply for any of the programs in NISER, candidates have to register first on the official website of the institute. There is no application fee for the PhD course, but other courses such as Integrated MSc carry specific fees. Unreserved, EWS, or OBC male candidates have to pay ₹1,200, and female candidates from these categories have to pay ₹600. Applicants from SC, ST, PwD, or Transgender categories need to pay ₹600. These charges are applicable for the test centers located in India.
