National Sports University (NSU), Imphal, Manipur, was established in 2018. NSU is approved by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The college offers undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs, including B.Sc, BPES, M.Sc, MA, and MPES, in different fields, such as sports coaching, sports psychology, and sports nutrition.
Admission to these programs is based on a written test, followed by a sports proficiency test and physical fitness tests. The fee for the B.Sc. in Sports Coaching program is INR 3.20 lakh for four years. Further, the college is built on 325 acres of land, providing its students with multiple facilities, including separate hostels for boys and girls, sports facilities, a library with a collection of various subjects, a gym, a swimming pool and more.
