Nitte University provides B.Sc, MBBS, BDS, BPT, B.Pharm, B.Tech, B.Arch, BJMC, and Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing course at the UG level. The PG level courses provided by the university are MD, MS, MPH, MCh, M.Pharm, MPT, MSc, and MJMC courses.
The university is also conducting courses of GNM, Post Basic Diploma in Nursing, Pharm.D, D.Pharm. There are also an option to get admission at doctorate level into Ph.D. course with 6 specializations. Candidates can apply for entry into UG, PG, and Diploma courses in offline mode. Candidates seeking to enter Ph.D. course may apply through download of application form and then sending it to the post office.
Admission to MBBS and BDS program is provided on the basis of NEET UG ranking by Centralized Counselling organized by KEA. Candidates have accepted B.Arch through valid score in NATA. Admission to the rest of the UG programs is made on the basis of the merit of the applicant in the qualifying examination. Admission in MD and MS courses is given based on the NEET PG ranking through centralized counseling organized by KEA. Admission in MDS is based on valid score in NEET MDS. Admission in M.Ch is carried out through valid score in NEET SS organized by NBE. Admission of students in other PG courses is given based on merit in qualifying exam. Admission to B.Tech is on the basis of valid scores in the NUCAT exam organized by the University.
The Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) is being conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility / merit, for admission to the First Year of full-time BTech, MTech & MCA programs at Nitte (Deemed to be University).
Candidates are provided with admission in Diploma program on the basis of their marks scored in the qualifying test. Admission to Ph.D. is provided on the basis of marks scored in the written exam and interview round held by the university.
Important dates for admissions to NITTE University in 2025 have been notified. Exams for B.Arch admissions are set for March 7–June 28, 2025, and NATA 2025 registration is now open. Niite University provides B.Sc in Nursing, B.Pharm, BPT, B.Sc in Biomedical Science, B.Tech, B.Arch and BJMC courses at UG level.
Passed candidates of 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB with English are eligible for admission to B.Sc in Nursing. The lowest eligibility criteria for admission to B.Sc in MIT, MLT, A & OTT, BPT, BSc (Hons) courses candidates is 10+2 with a minimum of 40% marks combined in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. Students who have cleared 10+2 with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics or Computer Science or Electronics or Biotechnology and English are eligible to be admitted to B.Pharm.
Candidates who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics are eligible to receive admission to B.Arch. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualifying examination with a minimum of 40% marks are eligible to apply for admission to BJMC.
Admission to B.Arch program is made based on NATA score valid. Admission to the rest of the courses is provided based on the merit of the applicant in the qualifying examination as per the university norms.

Nitte University provides 3-year MD and MS courses in different specializations with the total intake of 98 students, and a 3-year MDS course with the strength of 49 students.
Graduates who have pursued MBBS course with permanent registration from any State Medical Council can join MD/ MS program. Likewise, individuals who have undergone BDS Degree and registered from State Medical Council can be deemed qualified to obtain admission in MDS course.
MD and MS course admission is provided based on NEET PG rank by centralized counselling by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Admission to MDS is provided based on valid score in NEET MDS.
Admission to M.Tech and MCA is done on the basis of NUCAT exam merit. The candidate must appear for the Nitte University Common Admission Test for becoming eligible for the master's degree in engineering.

The MBBS course starts on the date prescribed by the Medical Council of India, usually during the first week of August.
