NRI Institute of Technology Guntur Admission 2025

To get admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programs at NRI Institute of Technology, students need to take part in the State Level Common Entrance Tests organized by the Andhra Pradesh Government. The admission process is divided into two categories. In Category A, 70% of the seats are given to students based on their ranks in the entrance test. In Category B, the remaining 30% of the seats are filled under the Management or NRI quota, following the rules set by the Andhra Pradesh Technical Education Department.

The Training, Placement, and Development Cell of NRI Institute of Technology continues to be an active force in guiding students towards professional success. In the 2025 placement season, the institute recorded outstanding achievements, with 586 placement offers made to students in all branches of engineering. 51 top national and multinational companies carried out campus recruitment exercises.

The Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department had the most placements with 168, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at 146, Mechanical Engineering (MECH) at 141, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at 68, Information Technology (IT) at 53, and Civil Engineering with 10 placements.

The training cell also places greater stress on all-round development, starting from the initial year itself, with periodic sessions on aptitude, soft skills, technical training, and interview techniques. A specific Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) session is conducted in the third year with emphasis on problem solving, communication, and collaboration.
