Undergraduate and graduate courses in a range of engineering specializations are available at Raghu Engineering College. The college has set minimum eligibility criteria for the programs and scores of national or state-level entrance exams are accepted for admissions. REC offers admissions based on merit which is computed with scores from the entrance exam and marks in previous qualifying exams.
Course enrollment in undergraduate programs begins at 60, and for other courses, it rises to 360. Whereas M.Tech admissions began with 9 seats and increased to 36. There are two quotas under which REC admits students. First is the Convenor Quota in which students who have secured rank in EAPCET, will be given preference and the second is the Management Quota in which direct admissions are offered.
When applying for admission, students can choose the streams they want to enroll in. The REC permits lateral entry for second-year engineering students.
Undergraduate admission to B.Tech programs is available at Raghu Engineering College. There are many streams for B.Tech available at the college such as Computer Science & Engineering in various specializations, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Candidates in the general category must receive at least 45% of aggregate marksin the 12th grade, while those in the SC, ST, and OBC categories must receive 40%. REC admits students through Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test (EAPCET) scores.
