At Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, the Placement Cell is a vibrant organization with a coordinator, placement officer, and student representative tasked with helping students find job options. By means of a blend of on-campus and off-campus recruitment campaigns, the Placement Cell facilitates the connection between students and top firms like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IBM, HP, and Cognizant.
The Placement Cell guarantees that students are placed in various situations that correspond with their areas of expertise, going beyond traditional corporate placements. This covers assignments in fields like education, healthcare, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), social action and advocacy groups, rural and urban areas, and government initiatives. Students can obtain real-world experience and make significant contributions to a range of socioeconomic contexts through such varied internships.
Additionally, the college highlights that exposure to other countries is a crucial component of students' development. More than half of the students get to study at prestigious universities in the US, Australia, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Israel, Malaysia, Nepal, the Middle East, and other countries as part of an International Exposure Program each year. Students' perspectives are widened, intercultural understanding is encouraged, and they are better equipped for global professions in a world that is becoming more interconnected through this experience.
