Regional Institute of Education Admission 2025: Course, Application Process

The Regional Institute of Education located in Bhopal is one of NCERT's organisations. In 1963, the Indian government established RIEs in four zones that encompassed different states. M.Ed., B.Ed., and four-year integrated BA-B.Ed. and B.Sc-B.Ed. degree programs are available at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at RIE, Bhopal. Additionally, the institute provides the Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (DGC). Candidates must apply online via the RIE Bhopal's official website. Candidates for the BA-B.Ed. and B.Sc.-B.Ed. programs must have earned 50% of the possible points in their 10+2 or equivalent exam from an accredited board. To be admitted to an M.Ed. program, candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree with at least 50% of the possible points.

Undergraduate BA-B.Ed. and B.Sc.-B.Ed. combined degree programs are available at RIE Bhopal. A minimum of 10+2 with 50% (45% for SC/ST) from an accredited board is required for qualifying. The NCERT-conducted Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Exam will determine admission to both courses. RIE Bhopal will create the merit list for each category based on the applicants' RIE CEE scores. Candidates will be contacted for the counselling procedure if they meet the cut-off score.

RIE PG Admission 2025

Postgraduate B.Ed. and M.Ed. degree programs are available at RIE Bhopal. In order to pursue a B.Ed., candidates must have earned at least 50% of their possible points in their B.A. or B.Sc. Applicants with a B.Sc. degree who wish to enrol in a B.Ed. program should have completed at least two of the following courses at the graduation level: mathematics, physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. The following topics should have been studied at the graduation level by candidates applying to the B.Ed. program with a B.A. degree: Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi, and Urdu, History, Economics, Geography, and Political Science. One of these subjects should have been in literature.

Candidates for the M.Ed. program must have completed a four-year B.A.B.Ed./ B.Sc.B.Ed. dual degree program or a B.Ed. degree program with at least 55% in both theory and practical separately. The Regional Institute of Education Common Entrance Exam, administered by NCERT, will determine admission to both courses. RIE Bhopal will create the merit list for each category based on the applicants' RIE CEE scores.
