Regional Institute of Education: Courses, Admission, Scholarship

The Regional Institute of Education is accredited to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, located in New Delhi and an NAAC "A+" rated institution. It is a component of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). Both the B.Sc.-B.Ed. and the BA-B.Ed. programs, which include an undergraduate B.Ed. program, are integrated programs offered by RIE Ajmer. The college provides a Master of Education program for postgraduate study. Admission to the courses is solely determined by the results of the NCERT Entrance Exam, which is followed by counselling. On the basis of their merit in the most recent qualifying exam and their CEE score, candidates are chosen. The qualifying exam scores account for 40% of the weight, with the CEE score accounting for 60%. In accordance with the guidelines established by NCERT, New Delhi, the institute offers seat reservations to candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, or PWD. For candidates in the reserved category, there is a 5% mark relaxation in the qualifying examination. The 110-acre site of RIE Ajmer includes a hostel. Air conditioning, an auditorium, an ATM, a boys' hostel, a canteen, a computer lab, a conference hall, counselling, a festival, a gym, and more are available on campus.

RIE Courses 2025

Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer provides five undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. The B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated program (physical science and biological science) and the B.A. B.Ed. integrated programs are the two undergraduate integrated courses. These two courses last for four years. In addition to these courses, the institute provides a two-year undergraduate B.Ed. degree. The institute provides a two-year M.Ed. program at the postgraduate level. There is a six-year Ph.D. program in education at the doctoral level.

Merit scores from the most recent qualifying exam or course-level entrances approved by the Regional Institute of Education Ajmer are used to determine admission. The university provides a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These are available in several fields, including teaching and education and science. In partnership with Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, the institute provides courses. RIE Scholarship 2025

All Scheduled Caste/Tribe students will receive a scholarship if they are not receiving any other financial aid. A merit-cum-means scholarship will be awarded to up to 50% of the remaining students, per the standards.

• The students in semesters I through VIII who are enrolled in BSc.Ed, BA.Ed, and MSc.Ed programs receive INR 800/-per month.
• Students pursuing an MSc in Education and a Master of Education in their IX to XII semesters receive INR 1200 annually.
• Freeship will also be granted to 20% of the remaining students in accordance with the guidelines.

• Labs: Students can conduct experiments in the fields of physics, chemistry, botany, and electronics with ease in the state-of-the-art research labs.
• Hostel: Girls are given access to the hostel by the institute. There are two hostels with all the services and amenities that girls need. Wardens properly look out for the girls' safety.
• The students have access to a multi-stationed gymnasium that is equipped with all the latest technological tools.
• For a better educational experience, a digital classroom is provided.
• Air-conditioned Seminar Halls: There is a large seminar hall that can accommodate 200 people and has air conditioning. The air-conditioned auditorium, which can accommodate about 400 people, is also available.
