RIE Bhopal was founded in 1963 by the Government of India and is affiliated with NCERT, New Delhi. It is also affiliated with Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and has been accredited with an A++ grade by NAAC. The institute provides teacher education courses such as BEd. and M.Ed., and integrated dual-degree courses such as BA B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. It also offers a Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (DCGC), which is NCERT-approved. The courses are prepared according to NCTE guidelines to prepare future secondary school teachers. Admissions are merit-based, and the institute has a placement cell to assist students with job placements. RIE Bhopal also offers different facilities such as a library, hostel, guest house, bank, and medical center.

RIE Bhopal Courses Offered

RIE Bhopal provides various courses for students who wish to become teachers or counselors. Students can pursue B.Sc + B.Ed or BA + B.Ed after 12th grade, which are 4-year courses. Graduates can pursue B.Ed (2 years) or M.Ed (2 years) to become teachers. Diploma in Counseling & Guidance (1 year) assists in studying how to guide and counsel students. RIE Bhopal Admission 2025

RIE Bhopal admissions are provided to Diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes. RIE Bhopal admissions at various levels are provided to courses such as B.Ed and M.Ed programmes. RIE Bhopal admissions also provide dual degree programmes. Admissions at RIE Bhopal can be applied for by filling the online application form. Candidates need to satisfy the eligibility criteria prior to applying for RIE Bhopal admissions.

1. Fill the application form by visiting the official website of RIE Bhopal.
2. Candidates can pay the application fee either in online mode (via Debit/ Credit card/net-banking) or offline mode (via SBI challan).
3. After the RIECEE application form is duly filled and the payment is done, the candidates will have to take a printout of it and send it to the address mentioned on the form.

Note: A candidate can apply for more than one course in a single application form.

RIE Bhopal Scholarships

All students from the Scheduled Castes, Tribes studying in the Institute will be provided with scholarships if they are not receiving any sort of financial support from any other source. A maximum of 50% of the remaining students will be given the merit-cum-means scholarship according to rules.

• Hostel:There are four furnished hostels provided by the Institute in which all students are given residence. The total strength capacity of four hostels is about 500 students. Boys and girls have separate hostels. There is a mess associated with each hostel and food provided to students according to a stipulated menu.
• Laboratories:Each subject has its own separate laboratories physics Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Mathematics, Geography, Psychology.
• ET Cell:Education Technology Cell named as ET Cell has State-of-the-art ET Lab, ICT Centre with LAN and Internet facility, Video-Conferencing Centre and all the latest technological facilities.
• Library: RIE Bhopal has a digital library.
• Playground:There is a playground with all sports facilities.
