SVPIT-V – Scholarships Overview
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology (SVIT) extends a range of scholarships for the deserving candidates. These scholarships come in the form of tuition waivers and students can avail only one at a time. The allocation of scholarships is contingent upon the validity of the documents submitted by the students. Any discrepancy found in the documents may result in the cancellation of the scholarship. Here is the detailed information about the scholarships offered by SVIT for the academic session 2022-23.
SVPIT-V – Scholarship for Differently Abled Students
The Saksham Scholarship is specifically designed for differently-abled students who possess more than 40% disability. This scholarship is applicable for students admitted in the first year of Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE Approved Institutions. The family income of the applicant should be less than INR 8,00,000 per Annum.

SVPIT-V – Scholarship for Engineering Students
The Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana provides scholarships to Engineering Students who have scored 80 percentile or more in 12th and if their family income is less than INR 6,00,000 per annum. For D2D Course, students must have secured 65% or more in Diploma.

SVPIT-V – Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections
The Hon. Chief Minister Scholarship Scheme is earmarked for Undergraduate students from economically weaker sections. The family income of the applicants should be less than INR 4,50,000 per annum. The students must have passed 10+2 examination from the Gujarat Board.

SVPIT-V – Scholarship for Girl Students
The PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme is exclusively for girl students admitted in their first year for diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE Approved Institutions. Two girls per family are eligible, and the family income should be less than INR 8,00,000 per Annum.

SVPIT-V – Scholarship for Minority Students
The Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' and the Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' are offered to students belonging to the Minority communities. Students need to have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual parental income from all sources should not exceed INR 2,50,000 for 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' and INR 2,00,000 for 'Post Matric Scholarship'.
