Saurashtra University focuses on educating every single student that is admitted at SU. The university provides several scholarship schemes. These scholarships are basically meant to be granted to students who belong to a minority community, or financially weak or meritorious. The SU scholarships tend to students financially, giving them the chance to complete their higher studies with ease. Some of the scholarships of Saurashtra University are as follows -

Benefit of the Scholarship

Fellowship Scheme for M.Phil / Ph.D Students (SEBC), Gujarat

Students must belong to the SEBC category.
They must be pursuing Ph.D or M.Phil Degree courses.
Family's annual income should be INR 45,760 or less.

An amount of INR 25,000 and INR 30,000 is granted to M.Phil and Ph.D. students, respectively.

Post Matric Scholarship for SC Girl Students, Gujarat

Students must belong to the SC category.
Family's annual income should be INR 2.5 Lakhs or less.
Students must be studying Graduation to Post Graduation.
Distance Education students are also eligible to apply.

Different financial assistance is given to eligible students.

Post SSC Scholarship for Girls (NTDNT), Gujarat

Student must be a girl applicant.
The girl student must be pursuing or completed studying from Class 11 to Phd degree level.
The student must belong to the NTDNT category.

Eligibility candidates are given financial assistance of INR 280 / month.
