Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC) Admission 2025 has started. The admission process is carried out for all UG and PG courses through the centralized Delhi University Common Seat Allocation System (DU CSAS). The college accepts CUET scores as the basis for admission to UG and PG levels. NTA administers the entrance exams. CUET UG is generally conducted in March, and CUET PG is conducted annually by NTA in May/June. The SBSC admission cutoff in 2025 is expected to range between 705 and 770 marks for all the UG courses.

The registration process generally starts after the declaration of the CUET results for admissions at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. SBSC offers one M.Com course at the PG level to interested candidates. All candidates must have a graduate degree in the relevant stream from a recognized university with 50% marks (at least) to become eligible for the M.Com courses. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College Admission Process 2025

Step 1: Register for the Entrance Examination

SBSC admissions to all UG & PG courses are based on scores obtained in the entrance examination. To apply for admission, candidates must register for the following entrance examinations:

  • Candidates applying for CUET must select Delhi University while filling out the application form. Additionally, they must choose subjects for which they have appeared or qualified in the last qualifying exam.

To successfully submit the CUET application, candidates require various documents such as -

  • A scanned copy of the recent passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned copy of your signature (black ink)
  • Photo ID proof issued by the government (Aadhar card, PAN card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.)
  • Marksheets of all qualifying exams
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Banking details for application fee payment

Step 2: Appear for the Entrance Exam

Candidates who fill out the application form must appear for the entrance examination as per the schedule. The timeline of when entrance exams are usually conducted in a year is given below:

Step 3: Registration on the DU CSAS Portal and Filling of Courses and College Preferences Candidates who qualify for the entrance examination must register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Portal of Delhi University for the SBSC seat allotment. Once the registration is done, candidates will be asked to fill in their college and course preferences. Registration portals for admission to various courses, along with the registration fee of Delhi University, are as follows:

  • Candidates who want to apply for the Sports Supernumerary or ECA quota must pay an additional application fee of INR 100.

There are various documents that the candidates should submit during the DU CSAS registration process, such as -

  • Photo (jpeg/jpg format)
  • Scanned Signature (jpeg/jpg format)
  • Marksheet of all qualifying exams
  • Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Affidavit for Single Girl Child (if applicable)
  • Certificate from Orphanage/ Death Certificate of parents (if applicable)
  • Kashmiri Migrant (if applicable)
  • PwBD/CW Category (if applicable)
  • Ward Quota (if applicable)
  • A total of 5 certificates from the past 3 years, if applying through ECA category
  • A total of 3 certificates from the past 3 years if applying through the Sports Supernumerary category

Step 4: Seat Allocation

The seat allocation for all courses will be done in multiple rounds. Delhi University will release the merit lists in two categories: Common Merit List and Category 2 Merit List (for PG courses only). The Common Merit List (CML) is open to all candidates. However, for the Category 2 Merit List (C2ML), only students who have graduated from Delhi University will be considered for admission to PG programs. The Highest Possible Preference will be provisionally allocated to a candidate who meets the Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admission criteria, such as:

  • Combination of selected college and course
  • Rank secured in the entrance exam
  • Availability of seats
  • Category of candidates

Step 5: Blocking of Seats and Final Admission

Upon declaration of merit list, candidates can check the list by logging in to their CSAS dashboard to accept the allocated seat if offered. Once a seat has been allocated to SBSC in a particular round, the candidate must 'Accept' the allocated seat before the last date/time in a given time period.

  • Once the candidate Accepts the provisionally allocated seat, the college administration will approve the seat allotment by checking the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate.
  • Upon approval of the seat allotment by the college, candidates must pay the Shaheed Bhagat Singh College admission fee to confirm their seat.
