The training program at Shivaji College is designed to go beyond the stereotypical curriculum to get our students in- line with industry expectations. A very rigorous training programme is instituted that ropes-in industry experts who advise, train and mentor the students to achieve their goals.
Students are put through a series of workshops, guest lectures, seminars and simulation exercises to become ready for the ever changing corporate landscape
There is a special Placement Cell which organizes placement selection for various companies, organizations and institutes and provides guidance to the students for different competitive exams. The experts in the team also train the students in communication skills, group discussion as well as interviews for their placements.
According to the official report for 2021-2022, 76 offer letters were obtained. AON Hewitt, Egon Zehnder, Protiviti, Genpact, TCS, JP Morgan, Boston Consulting Group, Mercer, S & P Capital IQ, American Express, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Deloitte were among the leading firms that took part in the hiring process. At Shivaji College, the highest pay package was INR 7 LPA. For the placements in 2022, the average compensation package was INR 3.6 LPA. The business development sector had the highest potential for employment.

Process of Registration for Students
- The process of registration starts from the Second week of June Every Year For Final Year Students.
- The placement facility is available to all passed pre final year students if registered with TPO for placements. Any Student not registered is not eligible for Placement opportunities.
- Students, who do not want to participate in the Placement process, are required to submit a form declaring their intention of non-participation in the Placement process.

Placement rules :-
- In order for the student to participate in the placement process, they must meet all of the requirements listed below.
- In order to provide other applicants with an equal opportunity of placement, a student who receives one final placement offer will be required to withdraw from the placement process.
- Prior to the commencement of the Final Placement Process, students who choose to choose their own placement should make their statement. They would be considered to have chosen not to participate in the placement process.
- The Placement Office should be the first point of contact for any Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs). A copy of the offer letter should be turned in to the Placement Office by students who accept the PPOs. These pupils will be regarded as placed.
- Students will be responsible for covering their own travel expenses if they need to travel for interviews.
- After attending the interview, students must complete and turn in the provided interview feedback form within 48 hours.
