Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences is a private medical school in Patelnagar, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Established in April 2002, the college started MBBS admissions in 2006 and postgraduate courses in 2011. It is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University. It has an annual intake of 150 MBBS students and 97 doctoral seats in different specialities approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). In 2017, the institute was made a constituent college of Shri Guru Ram Rai University.
The college was opened to fulfil the Shri Guru Ram Rai education mission, spearheaded by Sajjada Nashin Sri Mahant Devendra Das Ji, the spiritual guru of the Udaseen Sect. Committed to the heritage of Sri Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj—son of the seventh Sikh Guru, Sri Har Rai Ji—the institute owes its heritage to the rich tradition of Dehradun, whose name has its origin in the DERA set up by Sri Guru Ram Rai Ji in 1676. This "Dera" in the Doon Valley became the foundation for what is today referred to as Dehradun, linking the college's identity with the history and culture of the place.
