The tuition fee for this university is much lower than other universities and it increases approximately 10% every year. In fact, you can get any degree from here at a very low cost all over India. Although no direct scholarships are awarded by the university, you can apply for state and central government scholarships programs to get one.

The UP Government provides a variety of scholarships based on merit, cast, or financial requirements for various categories of pupils. These scholarships include the following:

  • Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students
  • Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for minority candidates
  • Chief Minister's Scholarship to support students from economically weaker sections.

UP Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2024-25

Students who fulfill the given eligibility conditions are eligible for the Uttar Pradesh Scholarship 2024.

Domicile for I-JP Scholarship 2024 -¢ The students who have domicile in Uttar Pradesh can only apply for this scholarship.-¢ The students must be studying in a college, school, or university in Uttar Pradesh.-¢ The school or college of a student must be registered on the I-JP scholarship portal.
Academic Qualification for UP Scholarship -¢ For Post-matric Scholarship (other than 11th, 12th): The student needs to be in graduation or post-graduation course of a recognized university or college.
Category Required for I-JP Scholarship 2024-25 .-¢ Christian, Sikh, Bodh, Muslim, Parsi, and Jain students can also apply for the same under the Minority category.-¢ SC, ST, OBC, and general category students can apply for this scholarship.
Minimum Income for I-JP Scholarship 2024-25 -¢ For post-matric scholarship, the family income should equal to or less than Rs. 2 lakh/annum.-¢ The student's family income should not exceed Rs 1 lakh/annum to apply for UP pre-matric scholarship.Students can also apply for the scholarship via the National Scholarship Portal.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship: This is available to students pursuing undergraduate and diploma programs in technical areas. It provides financial assistance to students from low-income families.Eligibility: Students studying postgraduate technical education programs like M. Tech, M.Arch, and MBA who belong to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs) are eligible for this scholarship.Benefits: Candidates who fall in this category are eligible for the financial assistance.
AICTE Saksham Scholarship: This scholarship is for students having disabilities who are pursuing their studies in technical subjects. It offers financial aid to help with tuition fees and other related expenses.Eligibility: Aimed at students with disabilities who are studying technical programs like diplomas or undergraduate degrees.Benefits: Offers financial aid and additional support services for students with disabilities.
Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF): Students who are doing a PhD in social science, arts, science, technology, humanities, or law avail of this fellowship.Eligibility: aimed at students who are pursuing in specific research fields such as science, technology, engineering, arts, math, or medicine at PMRF-approved institutions. Benefits: Provides a fellowship of up to Rs. 10.92 lakh annually for four years. Half of the funding comes from the government, while the rest is sponsored by an industry partner.
