Yes, SBCET has a well-furnished hostel for boys and girls. The dormitories have the minimum essential facilities such as Wi-Fi, a mess, common room, and security. The goal is to make the experience of residential attendance at the institute for outstation students in B.Tech, M.Tech, or MCA courses, much better.

Normally, SBCET considers candidates for MCA on a merit basis based upon Graduation marks alone. There are no other entrance examination requirements for either national or international colleges. To apply for MCA, an applicant must have 50% marks in their undergraduate degree. The selection process, as mentioned above, may involve internal counseling or screening rounds.

Yes, students are allowed to lateral entry in B.Tech for an engineering diploma student. Eligible students are those who have completed a three-year engineering program diploma with the percentage required, follow the direct lateral entry e-procedure/start on the REAP admissions process or the appropriate admission procedure for the concerned supportive criteria and they will enter in the II year running of the B.Tech course.

SBCET has M.Tech offers in three specializations: Computer Science and Engineering, Power Systems, and Production Engineering. GATE scores are preferred admission into certain branches such as Power Systems.
