Vivekanand College was providing students with career appropriate assistance, training and skill-set and help them make premier career choices. Their placement community also serves as a conduit for placement-related activities between the University of Delhi's Central Placement Cell (CPC) and college students.
Every year they organise career counselling & orientation sessions for students, who are interested in placement, internship, or career assistance are urged to produce CV that are relevant to their industry, take part in Group Discussion, and prepare for personal interviews.

The placement cell, Vivekananda College is a student run body, headed by teacher conveners appointed by the college administration, working towards the common goal of getting students placed in various firms.
Placement cell policies
- All the regular final year students of Vivekananda college who are interested in campus placement, must complete Registration in the beginning of the final academic year.
- A candidate appearing for campus placement can accept one job offer letter only.
- In case a student is unable to appear for the personal interview round due to any genuine reason, then the candidate must inform the Drive coordinator head
