The YCMOU was established in 1989. It is one of the largest open universities in Maharashtra, India. Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) offers various UG, PG, Diploma, and Certificate Courses for distance education. Primarily YCMOU focuses on Distance Learning, however, it still caters some support for student placements. The university provides robust placement services for different courses, especially for MBA and B.Tech. The Placement opportunities for other programmes are limited. Therefore, students can expect more chances of getting placed if enrolled in an MBA or B.Tech program.
